- I am a former Catholic who has claimed membership in the United Methodist Church. I have been a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church for several years and am currently attempting to discern God's call in my life. I am active in the Loudoun Valley Emmaus Community in Northern Virginia and recently changed my local church affiliation to Macedonia United Methodist Church in White Post, Va. My Catholic roots cause me to tend to be a fundamentalist in my faith beliefs and very conservative in my personal faith walk with Christ. I am certain that Christ abides in us when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. I pray that Christ will work through me and lead me to write the words He wants the world to see in these blog posts.
